So the bluetooth can't be enabled in Jaunty. You just try one thing. Enable/Turn on the bluetooth from Windows then restart and login to Ubuntu. Then your bluetooth device will work (in most cases). The problem is that Linux can't access the Pheonix BIOS calls for turning the bluetooth on... And i had installed jaunty on my laptop. I am experiencing a small problem with blue tooth, i am not able to connect my mobile to the lap through blue tooth. When i tried to set up a new device it is not searching for any device, it just shows me a blank list of devices. Can u please tell me the way to enable blue tooth on jaunty and how to make my laptop visible to other devices, I am also using windows vista home premium from there i am able to connect to my mobile and i can access web through GPRS. I was able to connect to the web through a USB cable and my sony ericsson mobile. Can u also provide what all drivers u had additionally installed for the lap.
